Overview Of Tour

Swap the chaos of Hanoi for a day of open countryside, ancient villages and mountain curves. This full-day ride takes you out through the green back-roads of the Red River Delta to the 400-year-old village of Duong Lam, up into the forested Ba Vi mountains, and back to the city — a perfect taste of real Northern Vietnam in a single day. You ride, our local guide leads, and our support mechanic follows as sweeper.

Intinerary

Day 1 Hanoi → Duong Lam Ancient Village → Ba Vi → Hanoi

Ride the green back-roads of the Red River Delta to Duong Lam Ancient Village, explore its laterite houses and communal halls, and enjoy a home-cooked Vietnamese lunch with locals. Ride the cool, twisting forest roads of Ba Vi National Park before returning to Hanoi. Approximately 180km, 6–7 hours riding, with a guide and support mechanic.

Choose from our own, well-maintained fleet — Honda XR150, CRF250L or CB500X — plus an easy semi-automatic option for beginners. Helmet and riding gear included.

Booking

Secure your spot with a 50% deposit; the remaining 50% is paid on the day, at your hotel or our office.

Riding & safety

Discuss your riding experience and the proposed surfaces with AZ. Confirm required documents, protective equipment and insurance arrangements before agreeing a ride.

Important Notes

  • There’s no strict age limit, but every rider must be healthy, fit, and genuinely confident on a geared motorbike — this is a demanding mountain route. Non-riders are welcome as pillion passengers.
  • Personal travel and medical insurance is required and is your responsibility.
